Just got mugged

squirelawrenceIt's just about as much fun as you might imagine. *sigh* Not injured - cuts and bruises. Didn't take anything - just jumped me from behind, hit me a few times, and ran off. *sigh*
My head hurts, my pride hurts, I had to wait two hours in the ER before they would clean the blood off my face, and insult to be-damned-injury, I have to go into work early tomorrow.
There are discrete points in time where life just sucks.
Oh, the few people who have my cell phone number? Don't bother for a bit - think I dropped my phone in the squad car when the cops took my statement. Can reach me by email, work phone, work email, or smoke signals if you're really, really good.
