Decided I would take the morning off and go vote here in DC around 9, when the lines died down.  Was all set for problems finding the polling station (still pretty new to the neighborhood), having the right ID in case they didn't have my registration on the books, long lines, etc.  Still remember the last time I voted, in NC, when it took me half an hour to find the place and then I had to wait 2 hours to votte.

Polling station is across the street from my apartment.  4 people were voting when I walked in, which meant staff outnumbered voters by 3 to 1.  They had my registration, which meant no need for ID, and I was out in less than 5 minutes.

I almost feel cheated, somehow.  :P
