Note to self
May. 8th, 2007 11:06 pmLong, long ago, in my not nearly misspent enough youth, I spent some time on the tropical paradise of Okinawa (for those of you who haven't been there, tropical is a minor and paradise a major exaggeration), where I was taught the life lesson "Do not try and match sake drinking skills with the old karate masters - because they will think it is funny and you will not."
To which I now add the addendum "Do not try and match tequila drinking skills with Texas attorneys - because they will think it is funny and in the morning, you will not." I think I am at stage 3 of tequila, past funny but not quite to invisible or bulletproof. *sigh* In my defense, it's been a long month.
Sleep now, deposition training later. Gatorade and aspirin before sleep. Hopefully this will help.
And on the bright side, it was really good tequila.
