YAYAYAYAYAY!!!!! I have internet! Life is GOOOOOOD!

Twice now in the last 48 hours I have been treated to the lesson of, if you can wade through enough layers of tech support, you can, in the end, find someone who knows their ass from their elbow. This time, it only took me two layers to find a cable tech support guy who discovered yes, indeedy, he could give me my account number so I could download the software and self-install my high speed internet.

I'm HOME!

Wow, only 2 layers. Go you! And welcome back to the internet. I've "missed" it for the last week. But somehow, the hot sun, cold drinks, and hot women in bikinis (including my wife) somehow took the pain out of it. lol

Well, yes, I can see how those would be compensations!

DC has many hot women, none of them my ex-wife (also a plus), hot sun, and a few cold drinks have been had. But still - glad to have internet! Now if I could only get my cable TV to work!
