I don't remember jury selection being quite this bad. . .
Although I did learn that falling asleep may be the best way of getting out of it! Sadly, not from doing so myself.
My very first time being called for jury duty, and I got empaneled. I still can't believe it. I'm a LAWYER, for cryin' out loud. I worked for two SEPARATE sets of prosecutors. And they're putting me on a criminal jury. Huh?
Could be fun, though. At least in the sense of taking a break from work, and getting to be in court again. I'd forgotten how much I miss being in court.
